Where Tabula loses
We make Tabula. It runs on macOS only and is closed source — if you need Windows or open source, Chrome, Brave, Firefox or Zen will serve you better.

Questions
Which browser is best for a Mac?
For most people, Safari: it is built in and easiest on the battery. Chrome suits Google apps and extensions, Brave suits privacy without setup, Zen suits people who miss Arc, and Tabula suits work that spans many sites at once.
Which browsers block ads without an extension?
Brave, Vivaldi, Opera, Orion, Dia and Tabula block ads and trackers out of the box. Safari, Firefox and Edge block trackers but not ads, and Chrome only blocks ads that break the Better Ads Standards.
Which browsers can show more than one site at once?
Chrome, Firefox, Brave, Edge and Dia have a split view for two pages; Arc, Zen and Opera go up to four; Vivaldi tiles several; Safari and Orion show one page per window. Tabula puts every site on a canvas as a live tile, so there is no fixed number.
Is Tabula built on Chrome?
It runs on Chromium, the engine inside Chrome, so sites work the way they do in Chrome and it installs extensions from the Chrome Web Store. What is different is around the engine: sites sit side by side on a canvas instead of in tabs.
